We are recruiting a Deputy Enablement Manager

Our Enablement Service is at the heart of Headway Gloucestershire. Open every weekday, we offer activities that focus on the five elements of rehabilitation: emotional functioning; cognitive functioning; learning; social interaction and behaviour. This takes the form of a structured timetable so that survivors of brain injury can select the activities that help them work towards their own unique recovery goals. We work one to one and also employ a group format to harness the recovery benefits of peer contact and support.

The Deputy Enablement Manager will be responsible for overseeing each day, ensuring that planned activities are delivered and that support is tailored to meet the needs of each individual survivor to maximise our contribution to their recovery.

You will join a dynamic team of staff and work with them to develop and deliver this service to clearly established quality standards and annual milestones. Your focus will be the daily operations at our centre and you will be able to demonstrate a strong person centred strengths based approach, and a drive for continuous improvement.

The person we are looking for will have a collaborative working style, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and an ability to work proactively and reactively on their own initiative and as part of our team. We welcome applications from candidates who have experience of working with vulnerable adults, and can demonstrate transferable skills. We provide a full programme of brain injury training.

Please see the job description for further information.

Closing date for applications – 9am Monday the 26th of November
